Presentations

Guys, word here.

The presentations this far have totally rocked my socks off. Not even kidding, and you guys have done such an incredible job pulling things together and I'm really looking forward to the individual presentations now. More than just learning the technique of rhetoric, I really have developed my knowledge of things going on the greater world and I feel like I've gained alot from the presentations.

Also, the creative responses were amazing. No lie! I really enjoyed Jaquinna's presentation b/c I thought it captivated so much as far as the American dream is concerned. It really pulled together the essence of what we, as Americans, are all striving for. The friends she interviewed all said something a little different about the American dream and what it meant to them, but yet, in a way, they're close the same. Why? Because they are all Americans focusing on their dreams and having the opportunities, someway, somehow, to achieve them. Anywhere else, they might not have that opportunity.

Also, Emily's Holocaust model was incredible, captivating the real feeling of those trapped in concentration camps, the indifference of the Germans and Nazis towards the Jews and others, and the overall gigantic separation of barbed wire, which I thought was very intelligently displayed as being much bigger. Why? Because, the barbed wire was the separating factor between two very similar people: both humans, both living and breathing people, yet their race caused a rift that separated night and day between the Germans and the Jews, imprisoned in conc. camps.

Annie's tombstone was also very unique and also tied in with her Taser presentation, which was great and I really felt a lot of ethos from Annie, considering her dad is an officer.

Overall, all the presentations have been well done and well put-together, creative and unique. I have learned a lot, I wish I could comment on everyone's, but that would take absolutley forever. So, I'll leave it at that. Great job Alden on the moment of silence, or 10 moments, it was great and very centering, allowing your mind to just "blah." Nice work, great job guys, and forever more.....

Arabia! Arabia! Allah he reigns o'er theeeeeeee! (disclaimer: not derogatory)
