Censorship…nobody likes it other than whining, sniveling, uncaring, overprotective parents. Wait…did that make sense? Oh well…
Bonnie and Christy brought us the perspective of the PTA of Television. Those who want to look like they care but are unwilling to do much about it.
I still feel censorship is needed. Nobody will change my mind on that. During prime time and family hours on over the air broadcast, certain things should not be said/done. This includes wardrobe malfunctions and F-bombs.
What happens on cable is rather like a spring break in Mexico… It stays there…until you run for political office and then gets dragged up and thrown in your face some twenty years later! Skin-a-max and ShowItAll are entitled to whatever they want to do until they have no money. Then they can feel free to take out welfare checks from the government. Until then they are entitled to there free speech and parents need to be entitled to acting like parents.
