Response to Alden

I think that Alden did a good job of relating Bitzer's ideas to those that were in her speech. The speech she chose was unique and had many aspects of rhetoric. The quotations she chose were effective in illustrating her points. She touched on many ideas besides those of logos, ethos and pathos. Her statement about the Generals epideictic opening to his speech was a great example to show laudatory praise. Great job!
