Creative Response response

Hello...
I'm sorry to get this out so late. I've never been very punctual.
I'm going to respond to the projects the best I can, considering I was having a hard time sitting in class and was totally preoccupied with vomit...there were a few projects that really stood out.

Richard, are you the one who did the sounds? That was a very interesting approach, especially since we've discussed the 'habitation' of rhetoric. First of all, the tape sparks interest, then pathos, then leads the listener to imagine all sorts of crazy things. My boyfriend is really into the genre of noise...his favorite records sound a lot like your project. I found that particularly cool, even if I wouldn't listen to it all the time. This just goes to show that rhetoric really can be found anywhere, especially if you know where to look. And it also shows us that we can control rhetoric anywhere if we just put our minds to it.

Robert's comparing rhetoric to the body was also quite cool. All the parts make the whole creature. Reminds me of the Leviathan from Morrissey's class, especially since Hobbes talked about metaphor and proper uses of speech.

I wasn't able to read the poem, and I'm very sorry for that. Could you send it to me? Melody was that yours? I'm sorry, I've gotten everyone's projects mixed up.

And I wish I could have made a zombie movie--that's the most basic definition I can give of rhetoric...zombie movies. Don't ask.
=)

You can't say that rhetoric is like zombie movies and then say "don't ask." I have to ask. HOW??
